As someone who cares deeply about the impact humans are having on the planet, I believe we need to be intentional about how we are traveling and where we are spending our money. Giving people the tools to be mindful travelers is something I am passionate about sharing.
Tourism can be a force for good if all parties are equally valued, the locals, the environment, and the traveler. This cultivates mutually beneficial relationships that have the power to generate positive shifts in our world.
As a travel consultant I'm here to turn the trip you have been dreaming of into reality! I've been curating global travel for years and am so excited to share my expertise with you.
One of my favorite things to incorporate into trips is local artisan experiences. Whether you'd like to take a class, watch demonstrations, or shop, there are lots of ways to include these experiences into your vacation.
Alongside being a travel consultant, I also run a ceramics studio, Keyes Pottery, keyespottery.com so supporting small businesses and artists is close to my heart! When we are able to connect in a meaningful way with other people it makes the trip more enriching and memorable.
Some of my favorite destinations:
Drake Bay, Costa Rica
The Albanian Riviera
New York City
"I love finding off the beaten path destinations, places where you can be immersed in the local culture, food and nature "
I also believe that you don’t always have to venture far from home to have a wonderful vacation. (Although that's great too). Whether you want an immersive cultural experience, a relaxing getaway, or a whitewater adventure, chances are you can experience that closer to home than you think.
